99 v6 camaro wont start! help!

My 99 camaro stopped dead on the road the other night. Had gotten a jump from work to get it going, all was well until about 8 miles down the road. Got it towed home and scanned it. Got a system too lean code (can't remember exact DTC #). Checked coils, ignition module and plugs, all is well there. Got it started the next day and got a multiple/random misfire code (p0300). Rechecked everything with voltmeter, still good. Did some research, and it all seemed to lead to the catalytic converter. Removed it (unplugged downstream O2), car will not start still. This is killing me since my girl is having to drive my car while I diddle in the garage. Please help ASAP!!!!

Have you checked the fuel pressure?

I've gotten that response froma few different people, so I guess I'll be picking up a pressure tester later today. Any indicator that will say that it's definitively the pump or the regulator? I sure would be happy if it's the reg since I think the tank is about 3/4 full.
