96 Z28 fuel problems

I have a 96 lt1 with 80,000 miles on it. I"ve put new bosch +2 plugs and msd 8.5 mm wires on it new rotor and cap, and new distributor. I have also put a new coil on too. The car has a hesitation at lower rpms and not so much at higher rpms. The car does need a valve adjustment. would that be the problem? I also have a vacuum line off and I dont know where it goes. It is on the rubber intake bellow. Its has a blue plastic piece on it. I have no Idea where it goes from there. help please!!!

the hose with the blue thing is a vent line that goes to the dist.

That may cause a problem if you have any vac. leakes behind the mass air

Valve adjustment could also cause some problems. Fix that line tho it goes on the 4-5 o'clock driver side of dist. there are 2

Thanks I will get that vac put on. Is it hard to do a valve adjustment yourself. Any tips I should know before trying it.

valve adj is easy, just idle the motor, warm it up, pop the valve covers, and loosen each rocker til it clicks, then tighten til it stops and go 1/4 turn more, and do each one
