95 LT1 fuel pump electrical connector

95 LT1 fuel pump electrical connector

I have cut the door to access the pump, how do you unplug the electric connector, it's yellow kinda U shaped.

I wasn't sure how to disconnect it either (not sure you can) and didn't want to risk breaking it so I just did the pump swap in the back of the car without disconnecting the wiring. There is a plug under the car near the fuel filter but didn't want to pull that wiring out either.

Well it unplugs under the car near the fuel filter.

Replace that yellow piece of crap with some wires running sraight through, epoxied, and a brass ground stud feed through to the sending unit - that yellow POS is a voltage drop barely suitable for the stock pump.
