95 camaro wont start
my car stopped slowly while i was driving on the freeway it was as if all the power was slowly going away. i got a jump still nothing. checked my battery and fuel everything is good. my security light is not on anymore but it was always on never flashed. i waited two days my car started for aprox. 10-15 seconds and then cut off. alot of people are telling me its my kill switch. what is that and where is it located?? also when i put the key in the ignition and try to start it nothing happens at all(soundless) my fan just comes on.help please
Re: 95 camaro wont start
There is no "kill switch" unless a previous owner added something as a security device.
Have you checked the fuel pressure? That will tell you if you have a faulty fuel pump.
It may also be a faulty ignition switch. See if this helps (courtesy of Shoebox):

Re: 95 camaro wont start
i would have to check the fuel pressure. the previous owner had a alarm system on my car. a friend touched some wires together in my car and an alarm came on i had no idea it was even there. i am no mechanic and every wire pretty much looks the same to me. this has happened to my car before i waited two weeks and it started, could my starter possibly be out???
Re: 95 camaro wont start
A weak battery, loose connections and corroded terminals can all cause the starter not to get power. But you lost power while driving. You may have mutiple problems.
