94+ fuel rail setup

I have a 93 Trans Am that originally had the fuel rails that had the single crossover on the back of the rails....I recently installed a 94+ intake manifold on my car and the 94+ fuel rail system, FPR and lines. I thought i read somewhere that this wasn't possible because it wouldn't run right with regards to the ECM and the fuel delivery type...Anyone know anything on this?

As long as the fuel line plumbing is converted, I don't see why it would not work. You are using the same injectors and wiring harness to them. They should fire in the same manner they did before.

Several guys on the speed density board are running this configuration and not having any issues. As long as you get everything hooked up it'll be fine.

It comes down to a question of whether GM chose the 93 configuration specifically to support the batch fire injectors, and the 94+ configuration to support the full sequential injection. The two injection methods are going to put significantly different pressure dynamics on the rails. Without actually observing the pressure fluctuations in the two systems, when both are operated batch fire in a 93, its hard to say whether GM used that difference as part of the design selection.
