6an Fitting Question and External Pump question

the above link is what Ifoud on ebay. it looks like a 6an that hooks into the quick disconnect. my question is would this be a good way to do a 6an instead of having to remove the tubes from the fuel rails and weld in the fittings? I cant weld, which is a big reason for my asking this. So other than looks what would be the difference between the two?
My next question is about external fuel pumps. Instead of having to drop the tank, couldnt I use an inline external fuel pump?

If you are using the stock rail configuration, with the FPR in the back of the driver's side rail, this would allow you to hook a -6AN line to the supply line. Note that it will not fit the return side, since that is a 5/16" line.
Adding an external pump "inline" means the pumps are in series. That is a good way to increase the pressure capability of the system, if you want to run a much higher than stock fuel pressure. You will also see some capacity increase, but is is not the best way to increase the flow capacity of the system. The inline pump will be limited to some extent by the flow capabilities of the stock in-tank pump.
Best way to increase flow capacity is to put a larger pump (or pumps) in the tank, or add an external pump, running off a tank sump, with the pumps in parallel.
