1995 camaro z28 stalled in traffic and wouldn't start
My camaro died in traffic the other day at idle. Went to put the key back into the ignition thinking I stalled it got no gauges, crank, or even fuel pump buzzing. Help..

You have probably already started doing this, but if not check the battery with a multilmeter for voltage (close to 12.5 volts when the engine isn't running), and clean the battery posts and cable connections. Possibly one or both are loose.
Here is a reference video if you if you are not familiar with checking the battery with the multimeter......
Hope it is as simple as that, but it may not be. I am pretty sure more people will respond with suggestions !

After the battery, check the voltage at the ignition switch. They are prone to melting and burned contacts at their advanced age. Shoebox has some info, specific to the 1995. Read from the beginning to see if the first paragraph describes your symptoms (I believe it does). Note that you check the switch by looking for 12V at the hot side of various fuses.

I had a problem like this with a 1976 Malibu Classic, IIRC, where the switch loosened and moved so that the ignition mechanism in the steering wheel wouldn't activate the switch. The solution was to move the switch back and tighten the screws holding the switch in place. I wonder if this type of thing can happen with a Camaro or other cars.

Couldn't have been too important.... after he posted his problem 2 weeks ago, he immediately signed off, and has never signed into the site again.
