Re: YSi owners

3 inch is the size of the outlet and a little smaller id on the ysi so 3 inch piping will be fine...i recommend aluminum with .065" thinkness, it is light, and can be polished out real nice

Re: YSi owners

I've seen some "rule of thumb" info stating that 3" is good for 1000HP. Above that step up to the 3.5" The velocity & pressure is at its highest leaving the blower so this outlet size is less important than the rest of the tubing. Larger will not hurt if you want to take the extra effort to make it fit.

We've made 1000+hp w/ a 3" discharge to the EV hat on a blow-through 406 SBC.

Re: YSi owners

Appreciate the replies.I`ll be using 3" .065 aluminum for discharge tubing and 4" into 5" for the blower`s inlet, routing it up to a filter over the dist. under the cowl of my hood.
I`ll be using 83# injectors, anyone know the limits of mini-ram fuel rails as delivered from TPIS?
Cooler is mounted,I`ll post some pics soon.

The blower intlet is 4.00.

I run 3.00 piping throughout my setup, have made anywhere from 680-754rwhp this year with my stuff.
