Whats up with SD-Concepts?

I sent my bracket to them 3 months ago and still nothing. Ive been trying to call them for the past two weeks and they wont even answer the phone. All this waiting has really put me in a bind. is anyone else having any trouble with them?

Don't worry. Send them a email. Make sure it is clear you are in a bind.

It took them less than 2 weeks from the time I mailed mine untill it was on my doorstep. Did you make sure they received it?

Depending on how busy they are, it can sometimes take them quite a while to finish their work (let alone give you a courtesy call ). The problem is they are really the only ones doing this company wise, so you are kind of screwed in forking out the rediculous price, and having to endure the long wait.

The good news is that once you do get it back, it works like a dream.

But what im saying is whats the problem with them not answering to phone at least once when i have called 20 times a day for a week and a half? That doesnt make sense to me. I left a message and sent them an email and no reply. looks like they need more help or a decent receptionist at least. to be a reputable company with years of experience they dont impress me so far.

I understand what you are saying, and I agree. Most likely SD concepts is not a large company. They probably consist of one guy who owns the shop and runs the show, possibly one more guy helping with production and or tool and die, and a possible part time receptionist, that comes in every once in a while to check emails, and messages, and take new orders. They probably don't see it as they need to change anything, as I'm sure they are highly profitable with how they are now. I am just guessing on this here, but, since no one else is doing this, and they are literally the only ones in the buisness, they probably could care less if they have a few angry customers, since their final product is quality, and more and more people will flood through their gates reguardless if people are complaining about them just to get their tensioner.

I also agree with what you are saying. But answer this: How do they get new business if they dont answer phone calls. I didnt, and Im pretty sure no one else would, send them an expensive Procharger bracket and other related parts without a phone call to tell them who its coming from. Just seems a little more logical to me.

and another thing. Wendy told me what parts to send. After the first 2 month wait after being told it would only take approx. 2 weeks, I called to see what the holdup was. She said they didnt have all the parts. Nice of them to call and let me know. Wendy must be a blonde. So I send the rest of the parts to them and now were coming up on another 2 months. I just want my parts back and **** ON EM...

lol, I know man, I know. But most guys only need 1 tensioner, and since there's no-where else to go, and not everyone has heard of the poor customer serviece, I'm sure they will be raking in the money and taking plenty of orders that they know won't be back to the customer when they say it will.

I'm quite confident if anyone else did tensioner's and had just better customer service and turn around time alone, SD concepts would be out of buisness. It's a total rip considering how expensive it is to put up with the BS. At least the tensioners are good once you finally get them.
