Your saying that you made ~440 Rear wheel HP with stock exhaust manifolds too??!
Damn....Now I am Really getting excited
I have an appointment to have Mufflex make a custom off road Y-pipe for my Grots LT in January. The custom Y-pipe is needed/WANTED for clearance and to clear a DS loop. They will also fix my header leak mabee machine the flanges if needed, change the plugs while they are at it. And also replace some of my IC tubing from PVC to steel tubing. Then its off to the Dyno to Tune with Wideband O2. I cant wait...But with Christmas coming up I guess I will have to be patient

Later,
Claude
I made 449 rwhp with stock heads and a CC305 on stock motor. I have since built a 355 with 8.9:1 comp. with stock heads still and managed 448 rwhp with 93 octane a 12:1 a/f ratio. This was all done with a P-1SC pushing 8# with the ATI twin intercoolers. I am trying to make 12# now but just cannot figure whats holding the combo back. I have a 12# pulley on know but she is still making 8# of boost.

I am just using the 2 core mounted in the stock ATI location. Spraytheway (Vince McCauley) tuned my car, and spent a total of roughly 10 hours between tuning and chasing bugs. I cannot believe I have the friends I do. They are willing to help me achieve my goals, with minimal $$$- and I couldn't be more thankful. As for timing, I have no clue. I'm no tuning guru. I just sat there and watched him make me 60-80 more foot pounds of torque. I am also running without an FMU, fwiw.
I still can't get over how my automatic car makes so much power. If I had a manual in it, I probably would have put out 430-440rwhp, which is insane for 6 psi and stock displacement and nothing more than a cheap exhaust. If I really wanted to get crazy (which I might)- I could always try 10psi on race fuel and see if I could hit 500 with Magic McCauley's tuning skills. The man made me 32hp/psi for christs' sake!

And the best part is- I know I'm on an honest dyno. They check it all the time against their engine dyno's and timeslips. Not that it's good for anything but tuning, but I can feel comfortable in knowing my Procharger is a great unit. Too bad my combo isn't doing it any justice right now...but I'll fix that soon enough.

Steve: What did you trap with your combo? Congrats on getting it together btw
.
A little bit better of a comparison might be trapspeed numbers. Blower cars can be "peaky" to begin with. The more I look at dyno numbers, the more I have to believe there are HUGE variances aout there.
Ex: One car down here dynoed ~415rwhp with an Strim and boltons - He trapped 114 at HRP. Another car dynoed 317rwhp NA and trapped 112 at HRP.
With all variables being known (elevations, temp, DA, etc) I still put my faith in track numbers over dyno numbers.

Ryan- as of now, my car is a little off from what it should be trapping. At roughly 3800 pounds, I should be hitting 115-ish... My best is a 113.xx, and I generally average 112's.
Ready for the excuses?
I only got to take her to the track 2 times. The first time, I was undergeared, undertired, understalled and inexperienced. The last chance was Halloween night (with Rich Krause, et Friends). This time, I had the gear, had the tire, but the strip was so cold, and unprepped that I had to keep getting on and off just to keep it in the lane. Even on a slick- I was still skating in third gear, and it was quite dangerous. Given the conditions, and the fact that I am still learning how to drive, launch, etc... I am absolutely dying over the fact that I have to wait 5 more months to really see what the car will really do.
Plus... my stock converter is KILLING ME. I can't launch any higher than 1000-1200 rpm, or it just rips em. So, I have no boost coming off the line.
So there you have it. My car's an abortion, I'm no John Force, I'm full of bad excuses and I live in Buffalo. lol.

Rich- I just noticed something...
I really wasn't trying to compare my car to yours. Really. I am the guy that reads the first post, looks for the reply to mine, and answers. lol.
I feel like a schmuck. My displacement comment was geared towards the fact that I had my 355 on the brain. My 330-340 comment came from my calculator and changing the 22% to 15%. Honest dyno comment was a reassurance that the blower works, driver doesn't.
I know it's no big deal, but I just felt uncomfortable with the way my post could be understood.
Eek! See you soon for Pizza.

405 RWHP @ 6000 rpm. Completely stock motor (with around 65K on it), with a Hot Cam and 1.6 rockers, 58 MM TB, twin turbos and intercoolers, showing 11.5 psi boost at the intake. 93 octane pump gas, no fans blowing across the intercoolers.. (ice next time!
)
This is thru a T350 with a 3500 stall, and 31 x 16.5 Hoosiers on the back, so it's up to you to figure the drivetrain loss.
96 deg., average high humidity Houston day, soft DFI timing, and pulling 1.5 deg per psi of boost thru the MSD.
I know that with a better turbo grind, there was a bunch left in it.
Got it apart for some forged pistons, LT4 top end, and some naaawwwzzz... we'll see what happens!

. Rigth now my car has a very conservative street tune (click on sig for mod details) but once I stick it on they dyno w WB 02s, I am hoping to pick up some more HP (shooting for 11.5:1 to 12:1 air fuel ratio) so I can continue to drive it all year round. Later, I will probably get Tunercat or Lt1 Edit so I have a summer tune, winter tune, race tune....etc. Thanks for all responses guys.

My car has stock heads and I am making 500 rwhp with an auto and trapped at 128 mph.
I am running the 8# pulley still with a hard intake(worth 4-5 mph at the track) and FMIC 3 core. There is still a lot left in the car but it needs more fuel and I haven't upgraded anything in almost 2 years.

One of our customers made 522 rwhp and 620 rwtq with stock heads and stock cam on 93 LT1 with STS Turbocharger system. Car went 11.3 ET at 133 mph at high elevation with 2.73 rearend gears.
We just dynod LS1 with STS turbo and it went 509 rwhp and 551 rwtq at 8 psi on completely stock car.
