what supercharger is the best 4 95z28 !!!
This thread would probably get you further if it were in the forced induction section. You need to decide how much power you want, and how much money you have to spend first. Don't put boost on a stock LT1.

*edit* Electric superchargers will give you as much horse power as changing your muffler bearings.

If you got a stock motor, then the best supercharger is no supercharger.
There are very few people that run blowers on stock motors that live a while.
I got 2200 miles with 6psi before my 72k mile shortblock said no more boost.

mrmint69 You are super charged and runnging a 13.9?
Has anyone ever dynoed one of those? I would figure the draw off the battery would be bad and the psi's must be so low its not worth it. Do the search on here and you will read for days on the different types and pros & cons. My Powerdyne is the cheapest IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE!
Another disappointing thread.... new guy shows up, looking for help, and he gets a wise *** response from Z28LT1_Just_Nasty, and an English lesson from nov194. We all had to start somewhere. Cut him some slack.
Moving to "Forced Induction" forum.

Sorry if my initial post was insulting I really was trying to be helpful.
Your question is extremely open ended. The biggest question is, what do you plan to do with the car and what have you done with the motor so far?
Most people are let down with anything less than a procharger D1. The smaller blowers usually end up disappointing in the future, if not initially. If you've not done any internal motor work, look to be doing a rebuild in the near future. If you can do a rebuild now to lower the compression it would be advisable.
Do yourself a favor and ignore the leaf blower comment. You will get a lot of sarcastic replies when you leave out words in your post and replace words with numbers... such as "to with 2" and "for with 4". Typically people take you more seriously when you spell things out as opposed to using short hand cell phone lingo.

As time has passed that seems to be what the majority of members have gone for and been happy with. The smaller blowers are often out grown relatively quickly and then a large sum of money is spent again to upgrade to a larger compressor. When consideration is given to a small blowers ability to blow your motor just like a larger one it makes sense to go with the larger one.
As mentioned, there is a lot of info on here that you can find with a search.

Yes, and D1SC's and Ttrim can easily be pullied down to 5 lbs or so. But they can also be pullied up to about 15 lbs. With the Strims and P1SC, not only do they have inefficient impellor designs but you have no room to grow when you decide to forge your motor. I don't know that much about Strims but someone please speak up if I'm wrong.

You can't really go wrong with the T-trim/Aftercooler combo. It's pricey, but will go down to 6 intercooled psi, which is safe on a stock motor. But, it'll support a stroker with big heads and cam, good enough to run 9's at 140 mph.

what's a good link to find that supercharger? Not having any luck finding the ones you are talking about.
Re: what supercharger is the best 4 95z28 !!!
Also the Z28 I bought has a 383 stroker and some keith don't know the last name pistons installed. A shift kit and forged internals I think. So now I'm looking for a decent supercharger.
