What size injectors? Vortech s-trim

Here is the set up I will have
383 LT4(blocked rated for 1000+hp)
LT4 heads and intake
Vortech S-trim 12-16lbs not sure yet
Spearco 3 core 3" innercooler(huge)
Mufflex 4" exhaust

I am going to stay with the stock computer for now.So I know I need high impedence.57lb I believe is the biggest for HI IMP.

What would you go with?

I owned a S trim on a 346 LS1 with a 100 shot and used 42# injectors. No way will it make 12-16 lbs, and certainly not on a 383 with ported heads.

Actually you can get some 72lb high impedence injectors now from a&a performance. What kind of hp are you looking to get out of this setup?.

Todd,
52# are not the highest ... high impedence injectors you can buy now. You can get much higher. I would say that you should go at least to 55/60# injectors for the kind of power that you intend on making. I can't wait to see/hear your car once it's done.

Cheers,
Tim

I have seen 12 lbs with just a 3.1 and 7 inch pulley on a 383, fully ported heads through an aftercooler............ 16 lbs????, most likely not, 12-14 lbs with a 2.75 pulley..I can easily see that. His LT4 heads are not ported either.

Kev,
You know as well as I do, if he intends to rev that engine like I think he does, I sure hope he updates to heavy duty springs and also gets those heads ported/polished. By the way, you ever coming over to pick up this chevy junk in my garage? LOL.
