Hi....Im hoping someone in here can give me at least a ROUGH ESTIMATE. I have been contemplating between either going with a head/cam package or supercharging my 2001 LS1. I think I have finally decided on going with the Procharger. Ive asked a ton of questions, but about the only awnser I can get , is that if the car is going to be mainly a street car (which it is) try running it at 7psi. My question is, I have seen the P-1SC kits all over the net for anywhere from $4,200's to $4,500's -- so I can expect to pay in that ball park for the kits, but how much should I plan/expect to pay for a quality-professional install and tune? Anything else anyone wants to warn me of or suggest is greatly appreciated...thank you in advance.

 

Heads+cam+nitrous

Supercharging will give you more PEAK hp, but an H/C nitrous car will blow you away at any speed. LS1 cars run very well with cams and spray.

 

Thanks for the help.....will take that into consideration....so how much should I look on spending for just the INSTALLATION of a head and cam package vs how much the INSTALLATION of a supercharger ? Thanks for your help
