ive been searching and searching and cant find a consistant answer, running the PVC is out of the question, will a breather in the valve cover be enough?

One breather wasn't enough for me. I was blowing oil at ~15 psi.

I wound up running 2 breathers. One was a standard breather and the other was a breather with a 5/8" hose barb on it. I ran a 5/8" heater hose back to the turbo inlet to pull air out of the crank case.

It is similar to the exhaust based evac systems. I like those as well.

I have the pcv routed under the throttle body like stock and a line from the passenger valve cover goint to the inlet of the blower with and oil/water seperator in between. Works flawlessly for my ~18psi.

I still have the pcv, but i have breathers on all four holes in the valve covers, still get some oil on the valve covers, but not too serious.

With the factory-style setup (with PCV, 1 valvecover venting to the inlet of the turbo), I was blowing oil out around the dipstick tube. I added another valvecover vent on the driver's side using an OEM vented valvecover and ran it to the inlet of the turbo also and now it works fine.

I rigged up a system that use the exhaust to evacuate the crankcase. Seems to work pretty good. You can feel a little suction on the valve cover end at idle. I have a one way valve welded to the downpipe and 3/4" hose running up to the passenger valve cover. No need for a breather with this type of evac.
