What kinda improvment...Just shoot some numbers out

Well This week the Tc76MPS is going on.

At our DA of almost 7000 feet it ran 14.97 at 91.xx MPH... (stock tires)

Now with the turbo and 6 #s of boost to begin (probly 8 shortly after... lol). What Kind of improvment will be seen with a decent tune and 6#s of boost?

Most people at sea level area claim a 1 - 1.5 sec improvment. Seeing my altitude is just out of control here, and boost help make up for it over a N/A motor, I was hoping to see at least that if not a bit more. (1.5 improvment would make me happy).

What do you guys think? No matter what happens a forged SBC is goign in as soon as i can

lol.. come on! lol... i figure 8 lbs would get me somewhere in the area of what a car closer to sea level runs with 6 lbs... 10 lbs would probly put me right (lil better at least) at what someone runs with 6 lbs at sea level....

just a big guess really... altitude makes things hard to estimate...

Your figuring about right when you say 1 to 1.5 seconds. Problem is once you add that boost to it, if your running stock tires, you may blow the tires off it and then you'll be lucky if you get a second just cause your 60ft's will be bad. If i remember, when i put my s-trim on my old setup and ran boost only at 6psi, i think i cut off about 1 to 1.2 seconds. I'm at 5800ft and the DA's sometimes get to 8000 up here. It's a killer.
