Vortech YS-trim LS-1 dyno'd

After a long, cold winter in the shop, we have completed our first dyno pulls on the YS-trim and made 790rwhp, only on the blower. We're using the 3.12 pulley and have ordered a 3.25 pulley to slow the blower down and reduce intake air temps.

When we added a 200 shot, tire (MT Drags) spin on the Mustang dyno was so bad that all we know is that hp was above 800. With a NX 500 shot available, 1000rwhp should be achievable, as long as the head gaskets hold.

Will post pics in a few weeks. stealth.

How much boost were you making with that size of pulley? Are the heads ported? Headers?

15 lbs. at the blower at 5300 ft elevation. With a 500 shot available, we're really not focused on boost. Heads are P/P LS1, Dynatech headers.
