Set the fans with LT-1 editor to come on at 182 and 192 degrees respectively with a 160 thermostat and stock cooling system otherwise.

The car always runs very cool, even in the middle of summer.

IAT when idling - 116 degrees, after a 1/4 mile run - 135 degrees, dropping back to 107 on the cool down return run.

So ... no heat soaking in my case.

Hope this helps

Too much heat here!!!

Imagine a 105 degree weather in traffic.. where the pavement will get to 156F and an inside of a car can reach 150F if left in the sun...

Its hot...

My ambient temperature would have been +/- 72 degrees, shirt sleeve type stuff.

We don't see the real heat but once or twice a year up here in Canada.

Yesterday I added another radiator (copper) and thus far it has worked wonderfully!!!! I am seeing IAT of 100F idle and this morning I saw 90s... and 100s at WOT 8psi boost.

I will be adding a set of fans to it... soon...

Well.. I managed to get 555rwhp... @117ºF IAT of the lousy front fan.. at the end of the run I saw around 126F

On the street I see 100F and 109-110 at the end of a 4-5th run WOT run...

I gained around 55rwhp or a bit more.. and there is still some more tunning and more timing to be added.. I am running a 35 total advance and 1º/psi at the BTM. no KNOCK!!!

Looks like you got done what you set out to do ... congrats . BTW, that copper radiator, was it in place of the radiator that the Vortec intercooler used, or did you tandem them up??

The copper radiator does not replace the OEM from vortech...

The copper radiator is placed between the tank and the pump beneat the air filter... it get a bit of air.. I will be making some sort of "ram air" that directs the air up to the radiator more...

What i wanted to do was add a set of fans.. but the fans that fit perfectly are the 120mm computer fans... 2 of them btw...

I surpassed my goal of 500rwhp and I said Iwas going to stay there.. now I cant.. there is another pulley comming up 2.75 vs 2.95 that I am using right now and seeing only 8psi max...

There is a lot more tunning and I think that more power can be gotten out of the setup but I will wait for the pulley so I can finish my dyno tunning...

There is a Mitsu VR4 that is pumping 677 and that will be my match this next week... so.. gota prepare.. He is running N2O 100 shot btw.. I will try to run him without the shot.. It looks like he is running a lot more N2O than what he is saying since his first run was 417 and he says he is running only a 100shot???

Anyways it would be a good run with him with 577 on AWD.. jeje.. running from 40mph...

I hope to get my pulley today...

Just curious after looking at your IAT numbers. Has anyone ever cut out holes in the front (fog lights and front plastic around the bowtie) and covered the front with mesh or a billet grill? It seems you would definately increase air flow as long as you reinforce the front where it was cut with braces.
