Re: turbo set up?

There is no detailed way to do it yourself. If you want to do it yourself get ready to fabricate. I spent as much money on fabbing my kit as I would have spent on on a PTK kit, but I got a much better intercooler and turbo. Honestly, this is one of those situations where if you have to ask then it's not for you.

Great White,

check out the chevy section on the board and the junk yard turbo section also. There certainly is plenty of detailed info out there on doing it yourself. it isnt that hard really.

also check www.homemadeturbos.com and ive seen a few DIY sts type kits as well which would be much cheaper to fab.

Re: turbo set up?

The PTK kit is the best you can buy and I am willing to bet if this is your first kit, it wont look or function half as good as the PTK. Not doubting your ability but most homemade kits look like total S**T. I bought the Gen 2 and couldnt be happier. ITs proven and high quality. Good luck!
