How thick is the intercooler? The 3" thick one is fairly restrictive but the 4" is supposed to work a little better.

Like Mike I upgraded my ebay special to a 25x12x4.5 Bell unit that I picked up for a song. Quality is an order of magnitude better than the ebay/crx piece.

Also, the hair spray trick does indeed work, just don't steal the little woman's hair spray when she's around.
