Re: Turbo Kit?

Everything should be there except for the turbo. Personally, I would spring for the coating and the clamp upgrades.

Re: Turbo Kit?

According to that advertisment, it seems the turbo is sold seperately...
That's what I thought, what about the wastegate, blow-off valve, they don't really say what's included specifically.

Call Jose at Forcedinductions.com, his prices for the PTK kit may be different and he'll tell you about the kit.

Re: Turbo Kit?

The kit includes intercooler( I upgraded to the water to air which will support up to 1,200hp) all piping hot and cold with your choice of coating polished silver or black. The kit comes with a turbo blanket, blow off valve( I upgraded to the tial 50mm) a turbosmart wastegate, oil lines, I upgraded the clamps to T-Bolt for looks and higher planned boost levels. The kit does not come with a turbo which is good because there is no one size fits all as we all know. The kit is only missing a good electronic boost controller( I bought the E-boost) and the turbo. Everything else is included in this kit. PTK is hands down the best turbo kit money can buy PERIOD! Its cool to build your own, but why when you have fabricators who have been building and designing turbo kits for years. And these kits unlike home built are PROVEN. I have seen many turbocharged cars in my life, most of which were slow and didnt run for S**T. Call and ask for Dalton over at PTK. Very nice guy and knows these kits very well.

Re: Turbo Kit?

To my knowledge there are no companies currently producing a twin kit for the LT-1. My next question would be why you would want a twin anyway? A sinlge will get you above 1,000hp if done right with the correct turbo. Not to metion less clutter in the engine compartment. I know its cool to have a twin, but thats all I can think of as far as being a plus. I have seen some guys on here that have made twin kits that look pretty damn good.
