Chris, if you get achance can you take a pic for me? I need you to aim the camera straight down at the last primary to see the width (distance between the steering shaft and the primary tube) if possible. Any help would be appreciated (I appreciate the other answers you gave me as well).

http://community.webshots.com/photo/...6866314KNFyVY# here is a link to a picture I was refering to from my first post. I know he is using a blazer v8 header. I would like to do the same, but mount mine down low by the balancer instead of up high near the radiator support. I also have a set of mac 1 5/8" headers I would like to see if I can use. I wont be doing this anytime soon as my project has kinda come to stand still for the moment, but just wanted to know your guys opinions on this. Thanks, Eric

If it were me, I would want to support it with a bracket or something.

Jon, here's a couple pics... These are from a slight forward angle as opposed to straight above it. The ruler on the first one slid forward and is at an angle, so the measurement is off, but it's the clearest of the pics my camera took.

The second has the ruler correct and you can see the measurements, but it's kinda blurry. The ruler is settting on top of the header flange against the head.
