Do I need one per bank, or can I assume both banks are performing equally by stock O2 sensor readings?
Re: Tuning after turbo install
If you're gonna tune it yourself, you're gonna need the WB. If you get HPTuners, get the enhanced i/o, and an Innovate LC-1. You'll be able to log the afr at all times, it's a pretty sweet setup. I actually have the LM-1, but from I heard you could use the LC-1 and it's cheaper.

Are wideband O2 sensors threaded the same as OEMs? Or am I going to have to remove one of my headers and weld a bung onto it... that'll be a blast.

HA!! Way to go me. Damn, I wasted all of that time typing a bunch of stuff you can't use!
Anyway, I had to weld in a bung for my narrowband. I put mine in the y-pipe. Now I'm gonna stop typing...

In your Y-pipe, with cats or no cats?

If you have done any searching on this board you will see that the stock LT1 motor is no lover of the boost it has to much of a glass jaw rotating assembly. It only takes one oops in the tune and its rebuild time.
