Do I need one per bank, or can I assume both banks are performing equally by stock O2 sensor readings?

You can tune one side and then just check the other to verify it's more or less the same.

If you're gonna tune it yourself, you're gonna need the WB. If you get HPTuners, get the enhanced i/o, and an Innovate LC-1. You'll be able to log the afr at all times, it's a pretty sweet setup. I actually have the LM-1, but from I heard you could use the LC-1 and it's cheaper.

hptuners would work great if it was an LS1

Yah I was looking at their website, not finding anything to do with LT1s...

Are wideband O2 sensors threaded the same as OEMs? Or am I going to have to remove one of my headers and weld a bung onto it... that'll be a blast.

HA!! Way to go me. Damn, I wasted all of that time typing a bunch of stuff you can't use!

Anyway, I had to weld in a bung for my narrowband. I put mine in the y-pipe. Now I'm gonna stop typing...

In your Y-pipe, with cats or no cats?

Anyone? The Zeitronix unit claims to have a narrowband convertor to keep your PCM happy, which implies the wideband sensor replaces the OEM...

It only takes one oops in the tune and its rebuild time.
The pistons are the weak part. The rest of the rotating assembly is pretty strong. I'm making an estimated 720 at the flywheel on the stock crank and rods with ARP fastners.
