Trip to the dyno didn't go so well...

But I guess it could have been worse.

I've got a couple of manifold bolts that stripped out. Maybe because of the turbo setup, maybe just from being tightened too many times. I figured out how to heli-coil them with the motor still in the car (write up to come soon) - I got the worst leak taken care of yesterday - But I still hear more.

I kept adding fuel because the dyno widband showed lean. My wideband showed rich. My wideband is upstream from where the wastegate ties back into the downpipe. Guess what - there is a leak in the down pipe (big) making the dyno wideband read wrong - So everytime I changed fuel it hurt me more.

Fatter than ever and seeing strange stuff like 10psi down low and 5psi up top I manage 395hp and 450tq. Depressing but I have to remember I redesigned EVERYTHING about how this motor runs.

Back up to holding boost on the street and the boost controller is working. I won't make it back to the dyno for a while.

Oh and on 5psi I had my *** handed to me by a heads/cam c5.

Well that sucks.... I would have trusted your wideband instead of the Dyno's. was it one located up the tailpipe?

Ouch. I have most of my leaks fixed. Good luck on getting the potential outta of it.

I'm not running any exhaust, just an open down pipe. Their sensor was stuck in the bottom of the downpipe.
