Just wondering what all would be involved in adding N20 to a supercharged application? Assuming a wet system with all the supporting mods such as window switch and bottle heater, what all would need to be changed? Would I need to change to a different spark plug? Would I need to get a new tune? How would the nitrous be effected by the methanol injection?
For those of you that know me, please note I am not seriously considering this, as I am happy with my power levels. I am more or less just interested in what all would be involved if I were to go this route.

So you are saying I won't need anything past just putting on the kit? What about the tune? Won't spraying throw it off? Also, how would the nitrous effect everything with my meth injection?
It will run fine with the meth. I'd start with a small shot. Like a 50. Pull a couple of deg of timing out just to be safe. Just dial in your A/F with the nitrous as if all you had was the nitrous itself. As long as you have the fuel supply, you should be good. Make sure your plugs are the right heat range and keep the gap in the .035 or smaller range. Lastly, be prepared for a grin that will need to be surgically removed.

The bad news is it sounds like I'll need some form of a re-tune then as I would need to take out some timing, which also will suck because that will equal less power for me when I am not spraying.
Anyone else have any inputs on this? The car hooks up like a champ in 1st gear on the street with cold Nitto DR's, so I was thinking about spraying just in 3rd and 4th gear for the extra MPH on the top end of a 1/4 mile run.

So just a thumb dial to knock down the timing a few degrees huh, and thats it? This definatly is more tempting to do now that I know it could be done with little change to my current setup.
Do any of you guys who spray and are boosting see any more boost with the spray?

-It can pull how ever many degrees of timing you set with each pound of boost if ya want (cool stuff)
With this... nitrous would be a snap. I could make ya a wiring diagram and show how easy it would be =D
Edit: and a 100 shot? Would start small and work up. Decide what you need. Remember with your blower a nitrous shot will be much higher than the jets are rated at.
Well I already have the MSD digital 6 plus unit under the hood, but I don't think it has the option of being able to pull timing out. BTW, what do you mean the nitrous shot will be much higher than the jets are rated at? Do you mean with a 75 shot I'll really be getting 100?
If you have the Digital 6 box then it can pull timing. You just have to be sure you have it wired to do so.
Just out of curiosity, are you using your factory rev limiter? The factory limiter pulls fuel and with the digital 6 box you can use it for your limiter and have it pull timing which is what you want with boost.
It sounds like you have a ignition box that you are not taking full advantage of.

Timing is currently at 26 degrees, and "NO" I am defintly not using the stock rev limiter setting. The rev limiter is set at 7200 RPM. I usually don't rev it past 6500 RPM though since thats what the blower maxes out at. The top end will take 7200 RPM, but we brought it up to 7,000 RPM on the dyno once and it started dropping off pretty good after 6500 or so anyways (I think my AFR 180 heads were the limiting factor on that one).
