Timing Question on Vortech Setup.

On a vortech S trim with the 6psi pulley, what is the max timing I should run without an intercooler. Forget about the retard, what should the computer see (33, 34, 35 degrees etc.)?

Otherwise stock shortblock? In that case, I'd say 26-28 degrees max advance.

Yes, on stock shortblock. So the 26-28 is before the 1 degree retard per psi of boost? Example: If i run 26 degrees advance, and run 6psi, my timing at 6 psi will be 20 degrees advance right? Just making sure.

I'm sorry. I meant to imply that your total timing would be good in the 26 degree range.

OK. No problem. So 26-28 degrees after the timing retard. Thanks again.
