tial wastegate help.
i have a turbo setup on my car right now. its a t72 ball bearing turbonetics turbo. i am also running a tial 38mm wastegate on it and i have it installed in the exhaust properly. i was wondering where the vacuum line goes. right now i have it on the side of the diaphragm and the top is left open (per tial tech support). i think that this is the wrong way or at least the top needs too be blocked off.any help is greatly appreciated.
thanks,
matt

they said that the boost controller line should go too the nipple on the side. that didnt make too much sense too me but the car is only makin the boost ragulated too the spring. tial told me that the top nipple is for an electric boost controler only. either way if you have one hooked up in your car, lemme no where the vacuum lines are goin.
i have a turbonetics mbc on the car. i jsut need too no where it goes too. there are 2 vacuum fittings and i have heard that i have too hook up either the top or side. i need too no where the line from the mbc goes. and what do i do with the other vacuum line.

lol
ther must be a line from the intake manifold or some vaccum source that feeds into thte wastegate. Thats how it registers boost and knows when to release. So that line should be intercepted by teh MBC so it can create the pressure differential in the vaccum signal, causing more boost.

ok, i have a dedicated vacuum line going too the mbc from the intake. that isnt the problem. i need too no where the line after the mbc goes on the tial gate. is it the top or side fitting? and also what does the fitting that isnt used with the mbc go too. do i leave it open too the air like i have heard? or do i have too cap it?
that was what i was wondering. sorry i am only asking because i have never used a tial wastegate and no directions came with it and none are avail. on the site.
thanks,
matt
