Tial 38 MM wastegate spring upgrade?

Just trying to find out if this has any truth to it.

It's time to up the boost on the car and was told that I couldn't change the spring and use racegas with this waste gate. Does this hold any truth. I don't see why not. I'm not sure if they mean I can't use leaded gas because it might put deposits on it causing it not to seal properly.

Thanks GS355

Exhaust doesn't even come in contact with the spring Just pop the top and put a new one in. They come apart pretty easy, I had to turn mine when I put the gates in the car to get the air fitting clear. The gates are Stainless, so I can't imagine that lead deposits will do anything. Who did you get your info from? Make sure you add more fuel with the extra boost.

Dalton at PTK. I have a gen 1 kit from them that we're fixing to dyno and I want to max out the MP70 thats on it before it gets there so we can tune on it. I'm just trying to get the car back to the same amount of boost that I was running with the old T-trim (15#). As far as the fuel thing, I got 65# injectors and an FMU on it for now.

Tial does not recommend using leaded fuel with their standard wastegate seats. They offer an upgraded valve seat for that application though.

Yeah I understand about the leaded sorta, But I Had no intentions on running leaded gas in my car. Maybe some 100oct(what ever is the highest unleaded is) or 93 with some xzylene in it.
