Those running 'realquicks' log manifold...question

What did you do for an air filter and where did you locate it in the scheme of things? I just noticed (damn it's late to do that too) that the inlet of the turbo looks to be darned close to the fans. I hope I don't have to switch to another fan setup.
Thanks!
Dave

1982z28w18s - What about the filter itself? Do you have a tube running from the inlet of the Turbo housing off to a K&N type filter ? Or is the filter itself mounted right on the turbo? I've see a few pictures in the past with filters right on the Turbo. Just wondering if that's the preferred way with RQ's hotparts. Thanks,
Dave

I started with just the filter, but then changed it up to a 90 degree 4" cupler from Vibrant, into a 4" intake pipe into the filter. I just looked to see if I had any pics of that, but I don't.

Good price on that, I looked for one for a while and couldn't find it.

I am going to try a 4" silicone 90 with mine (running with no filter and if that doesn't fit I may just use the poopra filters.

Uh... how does that work? Just snap on to the turbo housing itself? By the way.. ordered the Elbow that Engineermike pointed out. It's on it's way. They DO charge for shipping and handling to the tune of about $14.00 so the Total for the part plus UPS ground is just under $50.
