Fast t56 guy's inside
To all you guy's running T56's. Mcleod is starting up on making a SFI approved bellhousing for our LT1 car's. I spoke with them today and they are going to make about 40 to 60 to start and see if there is any interest.
Only problem is there are basically one off's to start. They won't mass produce these thing's unless it's worth it for them they told me.
Is anybody interested in one of these and is near them in California?
We need one of these to be legal at the track.
give them a call I think they need LT1's to test fit.

I hope they mass produce these soon!
Thanks

There has been lots of talk about these on several forums. McLeod's own forum has a thread going (also had a much longer one in the past but they inadvertently erased it) It seems this just isn't a huge priorty for them as they work on it in their spare time...or so it seems. I believe there is plenty of interest in this, they just need to get it into production. Here is the current thread from their website: http://www.mcleodind.com/forum/showt...=1325#post1325
Lets hope they can make this happen as there are several of us who have been patiently waiting...

Couldnt the same belhousing be used in t56 swaps for old school 350's? it seems like it could.. to bad they couldnt make it fit both types of t56's that way you could run whatever tranny you can get your hands on.
