T88 or 91mm+382Ab LS1+?
T88 or 91mm+382Ab LS1=?
I know there hasnt been anyone with an LS1 try something like this but im thinking about it i was wondering what you guys think about it. I know there was a guy in texas that has the incon kit on a 382 and made great power with just 5 PSI. Im wanting to run close to 20 PSI on it.My set it will be a 8.5 to 1 moter and i will be running F.A.S.T. and everthing i need to make it work.I know its going to take a lot of money and time and a lot of setback but im ready for it .What kind of power do you think this set up will make . So what do you guys think?

Depending on the turbo housings you use it will effect the potential power big time. I dont know if you can get a 91mm in the small housing like a t-76 uses, maybe you can Im just not up on that stuff. I think you can put an 88mm wheel in that small housing and make about 1100. Now take the 88mm and put it in what I call a "thumper" housing and you are making 1600HP, 1750 with the 91mm. Of course all of this is with 30-35psi, im just stating what the turbos potential is.
However since you are packaging this in an LS1 I really doubt you are talking about the "thumper" housing. But you can still make 1100-1200. At 20psi you are talking about 850-900. Good choice on the FAST system. It will make everything ALOT easier, and will actually run the way its supposed to.

no one has really been able to sucessfully run a high boost setup on a LS1 reliably....let alone something like that big turbo
honestly, do some reasearch @ www.ls1tech.com and you'll see the problems people have

I know the problems there having over there. But i think they have a lot worked out i know scott is running over 15 PSi on a F1 and harlan is running 15 psi. Im thinking about the thumper houseing. I know it will fit .Im relocating the battery to the back and re doing the over flow tank for the radiator and it frees up the whole pass.side front. I ws over at turbomustangs and there is a guy in mexico city that had one built nad it went somewhere in the 8's. but he used the stock block and it scattered everwhere so im using the c5r block. Im going to try it and se what happens it might blow up but we will see
Realistically i will probley run the t88 and run between 15-20 psi Im hoping to make around 850 .I know it sound like a lot but harlan made 700 on a mustang dyno with 15 psi on the incon kit. There is only one way to find out i guess .
