T-Rex install - How many ppl actually put the "heat fitting" in a 400F oven???

T-Rex install - How many ppl actually put the "heat fitting" in a 400F oven???

I don't know if its just me but I don't think putting a hot piece of metal into a line that previously had gas in it is smart. Do you need to do that or can you just slip the hose over the barbs and put a clamp on it??? The whole oven thing seems a little much.

I heated mine up with a torch and it slid right in.

I just followed the instructions and it worked perfectly. The hose is hard plastic, so it won't slide over the barb without the heat to soften the plastic.

Fuel usually requires a spark to ignite. The air/fuel charge reaches 700+ degrees after it compresses in your engine, but the spark is still required to light it off.

Yeah I stuck the fitting in the oven and it worked perfectly
