super charge 383/355?

super charge 383/355?

any body have a sup'd 383 or 355 lt1?
did you run a baseline?
what kind of hp did the engine make after the comp was lowered but before the blower was put on?

I believe you are asking for the effects of compression ratio on a motor. I think the common assumption is about 5% loss per point dropped in compression motor. ie. 400 hp at 10.5:1 would be about 380 at 8.5:1, all other factors the same.

Lowering the CR on a blower motor allows you to run more boost and make more hp. In any case, the hp difference in this range is at most 2% per point of compression (all else bieng equal).
