Would it be a bad idea to put an ATI Procharger P600B with inline fuel pump on a stock LT1 carrying 106k miles? She is a daily driver with a very light foot. The ATI is for the occasion I drive the car or go to the track.

If you do a search I’m sure you will find a ton of threads on this subject.

What is already done to the car?

If you are looking for just a little more power and the car is stock there are a bunch of mods you can do that would be less costly and less risky (heads/cam, headers, catback…) IMHO. You need deep pockets to play with boost at least that’s my experience a motor rebuild seems inevitable. My stock motor lasted 2 years others on this board not so lucky.

What pound pulleys are you thinking of running? I wouldn’t go over 6lbs without an intercooler and 8lbs with.

Tuning plays an extremely important role in how long it will last. If you do go SC then get it tuned on a Dyno with a wideband O2 sensor. With bad tuning it might only last seconds under boost.

If you do a search I’m sure you will find a ton of threads on this subject.

The best advice I've ever heard on this subject:

"If you can't afford the rebuild, don't run a blower."

It's true, so very true.

The car is basically stock ecxept for a cat back. The SC I was looking at does have the intercooler. I am starting to lean more towards engine stuff instead if SC
