Spark Retard without increase in Knock Count?
It's "burst knock retard" -- basically pre-emptive timing retard.
It happens when there is a sudden, large change in airflow. I used to get it too, but since disabling, the car feels a lot better, and I don't get any "real" knock where it had been retarding... so, I feel (in my case at least) that it's unnecessary.
You can disable it with TunerCat (don't know about LT1_Edit).
