Why do you need an oil pump with a non STS Turbo setup? Is the Turbo beneath/away from the oil pan level you need?

Hey,

From the video it doesn't seem that loud (sounds real good too). Would you say it's too loud for the street with an open DP?

Thanks,
Scott.

Scott, i can answer that

I have open DP on my car too......really, its not that loud after it goes into closed loop and idles normal.

My DP dumps BEFORE the k-member, and its about the same as my true duals w/ spiral flows were.

I wouldnt mind dumping it by the bellhousing, and putting like a bullet or something on it though.

The turbo should have been high enough for gravity drain:

Jon, that looks like a good design. The turbo is 'flipped' compared to my design I bought from you. Does this design shown here require the standup radiator or other deletions?

Besides a/c no, but the fans can be moved to the front of the radiator w/o having to cut the rad support, that what i did and it doesnt get hot at all w/ the pusher fans. Jon it looks like it should drain, but it's really not that big of a difference in the car, it's only a couple inches higher and i didnt want to use 90* fittings b/c i was worried about flow problems, by the time the hose bends it goes under the drain bung and back up to the drain. It's fine for a few minutes of idle, then the smoke show begins and oil leaks out from the exhaust side of the turbo and some of the clamps in the exhaust, barely any in the intake side.
