Single 255lph + meth for 550hp crank?

I picked up some 60lb injectors but pretty sure my stock 90lph and T-rex @ 190lph in series is not going to cut it without the FMU.

I will be at the mercy of the stock rods so I will probably be limited 550 crank hp.

Do you think a single 255lph on the stock harness and straight meth would support this?

A quick calculation on my part would show that ~310lph is required at BSFC of 0.6 so I'm wondering if the meth could make up the difference.

Another option might be a dual in-tank with no meth but I'm thinking the former would work better if it will suffice.

Thanks,
Scott.

It may support it but i wouldnt trust it 100%, alot of guys do but I didnt even trust my fuel pump last year making 411rwhp, i had some wierd issues last year. Car would randomly loose fuel pressure and die. Changed the pump and it happed later on in the year too. So now I have dual just incase!
I was told they support around 500-550hp

Scott,

60# injectors and single intank Walbro (with hotwire kit) will support 550-600rwhp.

Thanks guys.

I think I'll give it a shot. Can always add the second pump later on after I have a motor that can use it

Lots of factors go into it - if you are pushing through stock lines and rails I feel much better on two pumps.

The highest I have tuned a boosted motor to on one pump was in the upper 400s. I did make 520ish on spray with one pump.

Would you guys agree that this would be the pump I need? 255lph high pressure?

Yeah, will be stock lines, harness and 60lb inj. I will probally get a meth kit from Julio and run some water-mix as I do not have an intercooler. High 400's - low 500's at the wheels is going to be all this rotating assembly will take.

Jon, not real sure on dyno timing. With the way it runs right now there really would be no point (<10.0 AFR). Guess I'll get a pump, swap in the 60's and then give Speed Density tuning with TC a shot. Maybe sometime this year...
