finally dyno'ed my car! ltx, s400, th400!

well after a long *** time it finally got dyno'ed!!!!!!!
final number were 670/598! NO meth, PUMP gas!

MOTOR
ltx 385
8.5 CR
LPE ported heads and custom ground cam
lt1 intake
colla crank
JE pistons
4 bolt splayed billet mains
head studs and cometic gaskets

IGNITION
stock comp
stock opti
msd coil
msd 6AL, TR7's @28

FUEL
duel walbro's
stock lines
60lbs injectors
aeromotive fpr
stock rails

DRIVE TRAIN
th400 RMVB with brake
3500 nitrous stall
s60, spool with 3.54 gear

TURBO (custom fab'ed by me)
twin logs with 2.5 merge
T6 s475 with 1.32 AR
tial 38mm gate and 50mm bov
a2a intercooler
5" dp exiting the front bumper
verticle radiator

this is on pump gas, timing was @20, 14 psi

Those T6's take a little bit to spool up from a roll. Trans brake and 2 step with let you launch hard with it!

Nice! Im hoping for around the same numbers...just dyno'd mine on pump gas no meth on 8psi and got 583/491

T6 turbos are great! hahah

I wanna see pics of the setup or ban!! lol

ya i dont street race it, and im goin to try just the brake, what 2step is everyone running? you think it would make a big difference?

Shouldnt really need a 2 step, On my brake I see about 5psi at 4500rpm on a 8psi spring. See full boost at 5500rpm

is your turbo comparable to the s475? have you ever ran at the track?

Very comparable, mine is a 74mm t6 flanged. It has a .96A/R hot/.95 A/R cold. I see boost at about 3800rpm.
I havent been to the track as I am in the middle of getting my 9 inch built, and cage going in it. I will be running it on the 21st!

Also we do alot of (closed road) racing :P, we have a 1/4mile mapped out and My car is trapping 135mph as it sits. I raced a Caged 347 Procharged 8psi Notch with a cage and murdered him.

Geezus. That seems like a lot of power at the wheels with an auto and 14psi!!!

Nice work. Must be some good heads and a great tune. What AFR are you at?

ya, moe bailey is on here and some other forums, but as far as ltx's he is the best around. he travels all over the country tuning! afr is in the 11.7 range with a small spot around 5k that goes to 12.3, watch the vid at the end it shows the afr. cant wait till i get an A2W cooler, race gas, and bigger injectors!

what impedence converter is everyone running?

very nice man. you can get 79# high imp. injectors, plenty for what your s400 will put out

i had av ery similar setup to yours (near identical turbo to jay rich's) and was only putting out about 70 hp more with 4 more psi (spiked towards the end to 22 total) but i think its due to log style headers

Do you mind sharing the cam specs? Wondering how it is compaired to my custom comp.

Mine is a 230/236, .544/.555 114lsa (1.6rr)

Also I now know its not my cam...watching the full vid and seeing your dyno graph it looks like mine, damn laggy T6 turbos lol

man its been so long but i think its 236/246, .598/.610 on a 112lsa. ill have to double check! its an old LPE blower cam!

yeah....i would like to know as well

what happend? I mean.. you have run a T70,TV75...nitrous...six speeds, th400s...4l60s

1000rwhp 10 second cars..... I cant keep up
