Setup Dilema...your thoughts???

I've been gone a long time but am now coming back. I have a setup I'm building. I have a Dart block with 4.125 bore. I was building a N/A nitrous motor but have now scrapped that and am building a twin turbo setup instead. I am getting rid of my nib scat 4340 3.875" crank and 6.00" scat H-beam rods w/upgraded arp 2000 bolts. My dilema is which crank should I go with the turbos are rated to 1500 crank hp and I have a really good set of canfield heads. I'm leaning towards the lunati sledgehammer because it is already clearanced for 5.7" rods but I'm unsure if it can handle the power. Can it handle the power or should I go with a callies product or cola billet. Suggestions of power ratings would be a great place to start.

Thanks

I'm tired of using the search function with no success to what i'm looking for. I don't see how no one can tell me if a Lunati sledgehammer is capable of supporting a twin 66mm turbo set up on a dart block with canfield heads. This sytem is 1500 cshp capable and I need to know which crankshaft I sould buy.

No small block crank is going to like 1,500hp for long, but the Lunati piece is quite stout. Still, I would suggest a crank that has all of the main crank pins gun drilled. Contrary to popular belief, this is not done primarily to lighten the crank (though it does do so) but to strengthen it. Yes, a crank with drilled crankpins is STRONGER than one with solid pins. Provided, of course, that the machining is done correctly. So, go for the Lunati Pro series, the Callies Magnum, or another good brand with gun drilled mains. I am myself partial to Callies but keep in mind that the raw forgings are all done at the same place and the name brand just does the machining, heat treating, and inspection.

BTW: the attitude you display in your statement about being "tired of using the search function" doesn't make people want to rush in and help. You owe me ~$50 for the time it took me to type this at my current pay rate.

Thank you for the reply Rich. I'm sorry about the attitude implied. I did wait almost five days with no reply to my original post before I replied the way I did.
