"Safe" to drive 200MI w/stock injectors & 8#Procharger?

I have to drive almost 200 miles to where my car is getting tuned for my ATI procharger. Is this safe running it that distance with stock injectors, and no tune? If I baby it and stay out of boost I feel I will be ok. When I took my stock plugs out that were looking as if the car was running a little rich. I installed TR6's gapped @ .35 and I don't want to foul them out half way there. I am running the stock FMU and stock injectors there, then doing away with the FMU and running 38#'s.
Just don't want any problems on my trip there.

Thanks guys
Adam

You'll be ok, just stay out of boost and you'll be fine. Good luck

Agreed. You'll be fine. If you stay at less than 2/3 throttle, the programming doesn't even affect A/F ratio.

ditto. just be patient and keep your foot out of the gas until you have the bigger injectors/tune and youll be 100% fine

also if its not too late, i would suggest running a larger injector since you wont be using the FMU

Thanks for the advice guys! I have my larger injectors allready. They are 38lb and will be installed with the tune.
I let you guys know some dyno numbers later.
