The right supercharger

Hey what is the best Supercharger for a 2000 Camaro SS? Procharger offers some pretty sweet ones but i would just like some opinions.
Thanks

Re: The right supercharger

Vortech and ATI are the only 2 that have a good track record.

Re: The right supercharger

Vortech and Procharger both offer a decent product. The compressors are pretty equivalent. The first step is to decide how big a blower you need (i.e the CFM rating) and then go from there. If you are going for a big blower/high boost, you need to think about intercooling and/or water/alky injection. Procharger offers kits with air-air intercooler while Vortech offers an air-water "aftercooler". Neither offer water/alky injection (but my friend Bob Kennedy at www.kennedysdynotune.com does).
