kevin at fidlers wants to magnaflux/hottank the block, hone, new bearings, new rod bolts, new rings, and than double check the heads.

and still $500 for a shortblock, i bought my long block 5.3 for less than that.

Besides, why stay LT1? than I would bolt on LE2 heads and only go 2 tenths of a second faster. Not to mention why would I buy something from somebody that always talks **** on me, and when i already have a nicer shortblock in my possession?

Personally i would PROBABLY build the lt1...

but then again i just bought a lt1 car and pulled out the engine right away... for a 6.0
