How much boost do these support? Can they go as high as a "normal" setup?

Can you retain dual exhaust at all?

Is there a turbo kit out there for the lt1 that allows you to keep a/c?

1) There are guys pushing a *lot* of boost on the rear mount systems. They aren't quite as good in terms of power versus an under-hood system, but they are still fast as **** when built properly and well supported. I know there are some guys with them (modified of course) that are pushing 700+hp between the LT1 and LS1.

2) The system replaces the cat-back entirely, and provides a single exhaust tip on the passenger side. You might be able to modify it or do something custom for tips though. Highly modded guys use headers, but the "base setup" on a stock engine uses manifolds.

3) Pro Turbo Kits used to have a setup that kept the AC, as did RealQuick. Neither of those actively exist anymore though. Otherwise there are other options but a lot of people have to fabricate their own system.

It depends on whether you'd rather spend the cash on a system or fab it yourself. Also how much power you want. With those considerations, a lot is possible.

This is a well set up rear mount. As far as I know he still has AC and raceweight is somewhere around 3800lbs.

Some important tricks are to properly spec and size your exhaust components and coat and wrap everything.

The rear mount setup has the intake pipe running under the K member. I'd smash that thing on the first speedbump I went over.

Check out "Realquicks hot parts" for a nice kit minus the mechanical stuff.

I've ran both a rear mount and front mount and will say I'd never run a rear mount again. I had as much money in it as my front mount, it spooled A LOT slower, and honestly was lower than the front mount so I did scrape it. Try to find a used kit from real quick, I know their is one for sale in the for sale section and I believe some others might have one for sale also on here.

I was just looking at his site... I am really thinking about going this route. Since his isn't a complete kit, I can buy it part by part so I don't have to save up as much...
