racetronix fuel system question

When I return from Iraq i will be upgading my fuel system for future projects with my car. in short, my car will be a stock head intake stroked LT1 with the PTK turbo kit.
My questions is will the racetronix kit (including wiring system)with the walbro pump and bigger injectors be ebough to support a 600-650rwhp car?
Or do i need fuel rails, bigger return/feed lines...
In th future when i seek to upgrade would one more walbrough pump spliced in to the system be enough to suffice?
Thanks for the info guys, i know i didn't supply alot of details but i really didn't see the need to when it comes to something simple like a fuel system.

-Tony
edit: just found some more information about racetronix... i think that the dual walbrough setup would be great for my application, but i heard something about someone else having to do the work for you? Do i have to send my fuel tank out to some one to work on.. sounds like a really big hassle...

Jack? Are you out there? An answer from a supporting vendor @ racetronix would be nice on this and would probably sell me..hint hint..

Tony I have Jacks twin intank system, all I had to send out was the pickup not the whole tank. It is a lot more involved than adding an inline though you have to drop the tank I had diff and all suspension out when I installed mine so it wasn't to bad. I could see it being a lot tougher with that stuff in the way.

Re: racetronix fuel system question

At 650-700RWHP depending on your operating pressure and BSFC a single system with a BAP may or may not just be on the edge.

A DP system would support 700RWHP+ w/factory lines.
Many people opt to have -8 feed and -6 return fittings placed on the DP system so that they can run Teflon lines which will improve the flow.

Do you still offer a dual in-tank walbro setup for f bodies? Or can you make one if someone sends in the sending unit off the car. What kind of prices on that setup.. thanks

We still make them when we have time. Winter time is best when we have time between production runs.

Re: racetronix fuel system question

About taking out the pickup in the fueltank..my fuel experience on cars is limited, the extent of my fuel worries on old cars was a hose that went into a metal gas tank and a suction type mechanical fuel pump. I am not even familiar on how a pickup system works or mush less how hard it is to take one out of my car. Any sort of quick description would be helpful please.
Trying to learn everything i can about my fuel system before i leave iraq to go home and start the project.
thanks again guys.

Do some searches here and read up. There's lots of info, especially in LT1 Tech Forum.

As long as you can handle dropping the tank and pulling the sending unit the rest is up to Racetronix. Tank removal is pretty much the same as it was on the older cars

Re: racetronix fuel system question

Racetronix people are A+++++ not only did they try to fix my stuff... they didn't overcharge me for anything that was extra...

Thanks people... you will always have my business...

I sure hope this setup can support 800rwhp.
