quick supercharger/turbo question...

I was told by a friend that I would need to change my pistions and rods on my stock LT1 if I wanted to put on a super charger or twin turbos. Is this correct?

You can probably get away with 6lbs of boost.

I agree that you could put up to, say, 12 lbs boost on it and sleep well at night knowing it will stay together for awhile.

When I see these questions I assume that reliability is important to you and that you are not looking to make a one time dyno test just to see if it will break.
