So what did i fry?

New motor, .030 over forgings and file fit rings....P600b pulley'd to 9psi.....Drove 500 miles before it saw 4000 rpm and any boost.....at 900+ miles i started to lean on it. It would never show more than 4-5 psi on the gauge, and it would blow oil out the dipstick and the breather....
Last night i ran it through 1st and 2nd 6000 rpms....Pulled like mad, but won't idle now and "surge's" to 2500 rpm when i touch the throttle to keep it running.....
Worst part.....It is pressurizing the crankcase badly now....So, the question is, did the shop not gap the rings correctly for the blower. or did it lean out?
I never had any indication of a lean condition...AF ratio was alway's in the "rich" zone under load.....Fuel pressure was never under 60 psi WOT with my 30lb injectors....I'm programmed for this set up, what the hell happened?
Would the inline fuel pump not carry the load if the in tank pump failed? I think the check valve in the tank pump went bad as it won't hold pressure with the key on after the pump shuts down......I don't know, but i've taken about all the disappointment and money draining from this car i can stand....
Anyone?
Thanks

Well, i got a lot of responses.....I now suspect an intake manifold gasket, which also explains why it "surge's" at idle....Venting into the lifter valley\crankcase.....

Well, if its not going lean then theres nothing wrong with the fuel system. How do you have the PCV setup?

It's fine...turned out to be an intake manifold gasket on #8.
Thanks
John
