Question about SPEC vs McCloud engag

Everyone talks about the SPEC stage 4 not being streetable due to being unsprung....why isn't the McCloud unstreetable? It is my understanding that they had to go with an unsprung design to make room for 2 discs.

Thanx
Joe

Big difference in clutch material between the ST and the Spec Stage 4. The ST material is pretty much like stock and has similar engagement properties. The Spec is carbon, kevlar, ceramic, etc...i.e., very grabby and binary in feel. I think you'd be crazy to put an unsprung grabby material clutch in a street car when the ST is out there as a best-of-all-worlds alternative.
