q. on preping car for sc.

i want to put a supercharger on my car in the future. looking to run 12-16lbs of boost or so. but i won't be able to afford it for at least a year or two.

i replaced the rear with an 8.5" 10 bolt.
i plan to fab a new torque arm, sfc, connecting arms, and panhard.

i have and eiback spring kit and plan for new shocks soon, also plan to put on some headers this winter.

as for the motor.
i have a cc. extreme energy grind 224/236 with a 114 lsa. complete kit with 1.6 pro mag rr's.

i'm planning for a new chain and most likely a vented opti swap. of course since i'm this far i want to port and polish the heads up some.

now my question.
even though i can't get the supercharger for a year or two after i complete the above, should i open the valves up to 2.02's while i have the heads off?

i'm also planning to dump a set of forged pistons in, either a -28 or -32 dish.

how will the car act till i get the supercharger? lower compression, larger cam, and opened heads? will it be fine?

what else should i consider doing?
do i need to upgrade injectors for that cam? fuel pump?
