Re: protoype 4" elbow

from looking at your pics the one you have possibly would work. i just cannot tell if the vortec sits higher than the procharger. if it does then the elbow will problly hit the sterring rack.

As for whoever put the screen on the inlet side of the blower. I am certain you will have little restriction, and it would block medium pebbles, and leaves from getting in there, but without an air filter, there will be nothing to stop dust and dirt from getting into your system. If you only track your car, this may be ideal. But for people like me who mostly drive it on the street, I would reccomend getting an air filter attached somehow to the intake side of the blower.

You sure that's for LS1's? I just found this post here and it's a LT1 using it. Looked like he cut it and then used dry hose.

Re: protoype 4" elbow

Looking back at it, I believe it actually is for an LS1. The inlet side of the Procharger blowers for the LS1 cars faces the front of the car (much more room), where as for the LT1's face the back of the car where you run into clearance issues with an aftermarket inlet tube. I am not saying it can't be done, but it will be difficult.

i cant say too much because of the user agreement, but if a vendor or someone here wants to become a vendor for these, my wife reps a manufactoring firm who can make these by the 10's of thousands
