That's someone off of LS1tech that is doing that. Don't know how it's performing though. I just posted both pics that's all.

I saw a thread using the Mufflex pipe here. Does this work and is it for LT1's?

Thats for the LS1 setup. "No", it won't work for an LT1.

As for whoever put the screen on the inlet side of the blower. I am certain you will have little restriction, and it would block medium pebbles, and leaves from getting in there, but without an air filter, there will be nothing to stop dust and dirt from getting into your system. If you only track your car, this may be ideal. But for people like me who mostly drive it on the street, I would reccomend getting an air filter attached somehow to the intake side of the blower.
