Procharger with crane 227 cam

I'm not too familiar with turbo or supercharger selection but i found what sounds to be a good deal for a procharger P600b kit with 2 core IC, fmu, and all necessary components...

Would this kit work well with my bolt-ons and cam? aside from the kit what else would i have to purchase?

check link in sig for bolt-ons...

Refer to this thread which is stickied at the top of this section for information regarding boost and the LT-1 motor:

You'll find that a stock LT-1 or an LT-1 with bolt-on parts will, to a certain extend, respond nicely to a mild amount of boost. The problem is, once you start to exceed the "safe" level, all bets are off as to how long the motor will stay together.

A very conservative tune (preferably done on a dyno) will be the most important. An Intercooler and/or alcohol-water injection is also highly recommended.

Typically, an aftermarket fuel pump (such as a Walbro 255) and a set of 42lb. injectors works better than an FMU (which is usually part of the ATI kit).

If you choose to go the blower route, just don't be greedy and plan to build a boost friendly motor with the best parts you can afford, because at some time you will be needing it.

I would get a P1SC or D1SC if it were me. The P600b will not flow enough to satisfy your cammed motor. There are lots of kits in the for sale section right now. Make sure you do the research and get the kit that is right for you.

I ran a p600b 8psi on a stock LT1 350. Used AFR190 heads and a Crane powermax 1040 cam. FMU required alot of adjustment. It ran strong with a 373:1 gear. B.
